Works closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), Lab technicians, and other members of the lab, including graduate students and undergraduate volunteers. Coordinates the research activities of the NIMH R01 grant that includes recruiting participants, scheduling; managing IRB amendments; and drafting and revising study protocols. Manages the operations of a lab. - Coordinates the day to day activities of a research project. Recruits and schedules participants.
- Manages the IRB amendments. Works closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) in the implementation of activities associated with research projects.
- Works closely with the PI in developing and implementing guidelines for research protocol studies.
- Responsible for managing the lab's day-to-day operations.
- Oversees the data management, uploads, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinates the preparation of forms/documents in accordance with appropriate policies/procedures.
- Reviews and ensures participant forms are accurate.
- Recruits and onboards new team members.
- Maintains the website and social media platforms.
- Resource coordination with relevant university departments.
- Trains, supervises, and evaluates lab members and their research progress.
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and training protocols.
- Serves as the University's credit card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University's credit card policies and procedures.
- Assists the PI in short and long-range resource planning for the project. Coordinates and prepares meeting information.
- Obtains pricing, quotes, and pre-purchasing for lab equipment and supplies.
- Purchase, reconciliation, and distribution of participant compensation (gift cards and cash or cash equivalents).
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience.
Desired Qualifications - Experience recruiting participants.
- Experience leading research support staff.
- Experience with data management and statistical software.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
