Overview
We're offering a $10,000 signing bonus for full-time, new hires to join our Transitional Rehabilitation Unit. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a critical role in partnering with our residents and healthcare team to provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment through direct and indirect care.
Job Summary:
This 42-bed unit specializes in short-term, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including fractures, joint replacements, back surgeries, strokes, and other short-term illnesses or injuries that benefit from a rehabilitation approach. Key nursing services include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.
Job Requirements:
Education:
-Completion of a Maine State Board-approved CNA course.
-Active listing on the State of Maine CNA registry.
Experience:
-1-3 years of previous CNA experience is preferred.
-New CNAs with relevant work experience will also be considered.
Other Skills Required:
-Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
-Strong teamwork and communication skills.
-Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
-Flexibility in scheduling to meet the unit's needs.
