Job Summary:
The candidate is responsible for overseeing the formulation pharmaceutical manufacturing operations at the site. This includes leading a team of managers and supervisors to ensure that manufacturing activities are carried out efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. The AGM-Manufacturing will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the manufacturing team to ensure that all production activities are carried out in compliance with cGMP regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of production activities, ensuring that products are manufactured and delivered to customers on time and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve manufacturing processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing team.
- Collaborate with other functional areas, such as Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain, to ensure that all manufacturing activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and metrics for the manufacturing function.
- Ensure that all manufacturing personnel are properly trained and qualified for their respective roles.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in audits and inspections, ensuring that all manufacturing activities are fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all manufacturing equipment and facilities are properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or M.Pharm
- At least 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of cGMP regulations and industry standards
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and quality
- Ability to work collaboratively with other functional areas and stakeholders
- Strong project management skills
