The Waste Management Worker is responsible for contributing to best in class customer experience by performing general clean up of all areas of the property as assigned by the Property Manager. .
In this role, you will:
- Performs general clean up off all exterior and interior waste disposal locations
- Transports furniture and other discarded large items to central disposal area using company provided vehicle
- Empties garbage bins from interior of apartment buildings into exterior dumpsters
- Maintains all pet waste stations throughout the property
- Assist maintenance staff with transporting and delivering appliances
- Maintain and exceed our product standards by reporting any common area deficiencies
- Liaise with Administrators, Property Managers and Contractors to ensure proper waste disposal procedures are being followed
- Delivery of correspondence to residents
- Available to residents for general inquiries about living in their suite, building and community;
- Other duties as required
We would like you to have:
Education: High school diploma is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant work experience
Specialized Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Valid driver's license and clear driver's abstract
- Ability to operate smart phones
- Has knowledge of safety standards
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook
- Communication and interpersonal skills (listening, verbal and written)
- Problem solving skills
- Shows Initiative and demonstrates sense of ownership
