Restaurant Supervisor , SimBA Corp.

Purpose:

The incumbent in the position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of his/her outlet in order to meet the business requirements and guest satisfaction whilst ensuring the highest professional services in accordance with the Nairobi Street Kitchen quality service standards.
He/She is also responsible for up selling food and beverage to maximize the F&B revenue

Academic Qualifications

  • KCSE or equivalent qualification.
  • Hotel and Hospitality Management Certificate.

Experience

  • Should have worked already in the position of Restaurant or Assistant Restaurant Supervisor, minimum five years of work experience overall.

  • Planning and organizational skills, building teamwork, Motivating, and developing others, Problem-solving & decision making
  • Adaptability / Flexibility, Initiative, Results-oriented, Concern for quality
  • Customer service orientation, Cross-cultural sensitivity, Teamwork/co-operation, Interpersonal skills
  • Oral and listening skills, Writing skills
  • Knowledge of all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
  • Knowledge of wines and spirits.
  • Self-development very good communication skills
  • Fluency in Swahili and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and POS operating systems
