Reporting to the Manager, RPA, working in a multi-faceted team environment, the RPA Developer is responsible for supporting the evolution of robotic process automation.
This role requires continually building on existing robotic process automation skills and delivering automation solutions that adhere to industry and MD best practices.
What You Will Do:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Builds process automations in accordance with MD's Blue Prism design principles and conventions.
- Configures new Blue Prism processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
- Creates and maintains solution documentation.
- Performs peer review of solution documentation prepared by team members.
- Assists with problem solving issues that arise in day to day operations of RPA processes and provides timely responses and solutions as required.
- Creates, documents and performs pre-UAT testing to ensure developed automations meet defined requirements
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

What You Need:
- College diploma or university degree in Business Administration or Information Technology
- 1 -2 years Blue Prism experience
- Working knowledge in programming (C#, Java, Visual Basic, SQL, or other)
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly
- Previous process improvement experience desirable
- Familiarity with agile approach to project management
