Details of NIACL Recruitment
1. Administrative Officer (Generalist)
No of posts: 120 Posts [UR: 50, SC: 18, ST: 8, OBC: 32, EWS: 12, PwBD: 9]
Scale of Pay: Rs.50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765
Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a graduate/post graduate in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examination for General candidates and at least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
2. Administrative Officer (Accounts)
No of posts: 50 Posts [UR: 21, SC: 7, ST: 4, OBC: 13, EWS: 5, PwBD: 4]
Scale of Pay: Rs.50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765
Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (ICAI)/ Cost and Management Accountant (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, earlier known as ICWAI) and Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/ M.Com with min 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Age: Above 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st September, 2024 . The Relaxation of age is as for SC/ ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
Selection Procedure for NIACL Administrative Officer Recruitment
The selection process of New India Assurance Administrative Officer Recruitment consists of Preliminary, Main and Interview.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This would consist of 3 sections (with separate timings of 20 minutes for each section) as follows-
- English Language: 30 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 35 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 marks
Phase – II: Main Examination
The Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 30 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
A. Objective Test: The Objective Test of 2.5 hours' duration will be as follows. There will be separate timing for every section.
For Generalists:
- Test of Reasoning: 50 Marks
- Test of English Language: 50 Marks
- Test of General Awareness: 50 Marks
- Test of Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Marks
For Specialist:
- Test of Reasoning: 40 Marks
- Test of English Language: 40 Marks
- Test of General Awareness: 40 Marks
- Test of Quantitative Aptitude: 40 Marks
- Technical& professional knowledge: 40 Marks
B. Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes' duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10marks & Essay-20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted through on-line mode.
Phase – III: Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Company. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively.
