Firewatcher
PeopleReady ofLebanon, KY is now hiring Firewatcher / Spotters!As a Firewatcher, you are responsible for continuously observing hot work activity for the detection of, and response to, fires during hot work operations. This project will last 16 weeks and is a great opportunity to learn a skill!

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $20 / hour
What you'll be doing as a Firewatcher:
• Watch out for fire hazards in the workplace while work is performed by other employees
• Be prepared to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants, fixed monitors, and hose carts at anytime
• In the event of fire, extinguish it immediately or turn a fire alarm on, notify plant control room
• Ensure safety of person in confined spaces
• Keep visual and voice contact with other employees
• Inspect the entire work area and look for potential release of flammable vapors or liquids
• Follow all safety procedures

Shift Timings:1st Shift (Day)
Job requirements:
• Ability to work in Hot environment.
• Ability to work in foul smelling conditions.
• High school diploma or GED
• Not afraid of Heights.
• Background and Drug test required
