We are a leading institution in providing quality technical and vocational education and training in South Africa. As a Labour Relations Officer, you will be responsible for fostering positive working relationships, addressing employee grievances, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement policies and procedures related to labor relations
Advise management on labor laws, regulations, and best practices
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
Provide guidance and support to management on employee disciplinary matters
Participate in collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration
Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Conduct investigations and prepare reports on labor-related issues

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in labor relations or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in labor relations
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office
