Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our Second to None team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Professional engineer that plans, coordinates and monitors data gathering, analyses, as it related to supporting the Army's Energy Program.
• Provide technical guidance that requires knowledge and experience in translating actual energy usage data, into graphical and numerical documentation.
• Convey data via written and web-based reporting systems to provide energy management analysis.
• Provide Energy Management task using Building Automation System (BAS) such as the Utilities Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) using LONWork or BACNet protocols.
• Identify technologies to improve operational efficiencies.
Qualifications:
• Education and training in the principles and theories of Mechanical Engineering to include heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid flow dynamics, Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R), controls, operation of Direct Digital Controls (DDC); and electrical/electronic interfaces.
• As a secondary, the position requires entry level education and training in the principles and theories of Electrical Engineering to include determining load capacities, phasor angles, and electrical drawings.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
