- The Broking Support Services
division of North America Broking is comprised of a
dedicated team of people responsible for important
components of the reinsurance business Guy Carpenter places
for its clients. - Through knowledgeable contributions
in the areas of formal contract writing and technical sales
support such as evaluating client data and handling
compliance requirements, our focus is to uplift those
colleagues directly responsible for generating revenue while
contributing to the positive experience of their clients. - BSS is seeking candidates for the
following position in the New York, NY; Edina, MN; Seattle,
WA or Philadelphia, PA offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be the primary collaborator
with Broking on construction and delivery of contractual
documentation for client accounts assigned. - You will regularly make informed
thoughtful and relevant recommendations to the contractual
product beyond the broker instructions given and/or raise
potential issues with requested language/approach as
applicable and as each unique program warrants. - Deliver consistently accurate and
timely contract documentation to internal and external
parties. - Manage assigned client base for all
aspects of reinsurance contracts. - Interpret and assess contracts and
perform quality assurance review to ensure contract wording
reflects intent of reinsurance negotiations. - Proactively recommend coverage and
wording enhancements and raise potential coverage issues, as
appropriate.

The base pay offered will be determined
on factors such as experience, skills, training, location,
certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on
a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this
position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Requirements
1. Bachelor?s Degree
2. Minimum 3 years in a corporate
environment
3. Experience in insurance/reinsurance
industry (Will make you stand out)
4. Knowledge of contract law, contract
provisions, reinsurance concepts and principles, basic
regulatory controls, and general business trends.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
6. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card
holder.
