The Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Assam, Kahilipara has published a recruitment notification for recruitment of 107 Graduate Teachers for the Adarsha Vidyalayas of Assam, which are CBSE affiliated English medium schools, located in educationally backward blocks of Assam. The appointments shall be made purely on contractual basis initially for a period of 11 months subject to renewal of the contract depending on the satisfactory performance. Scale of Pay: Rs.14000/- to Rs. 49000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700- PM with other allowances as admissible.
Required Eligibility:
Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science):
For the post of Graduate Teacher (Arts), the candidate must be Arts / Commerce Graduate or Post Graduate in Arts / Commerce having from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
For the post of Graduate Teacher (Science), the candidate must be Science Graduate or Post Graduate in Science having from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
In respect of Secondary TET Candidate must obtain 60% marks in each paper for UR category and 55% marks for OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H) and PwD category
Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
Pravin / Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks and degree qualification with 50% marks or post Graduate degree in Arts with 50% marks from any recognized University, Or BA with 50% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 50% marks or post Graduate in Arts with 50% marks provided that he has passed BA with one of the subjects as Hindi with 50% marks in Hindi. B.Ed. degree from any recognized University (PARANGAT to be treated as B.Ed. degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching)

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years as on 1st January, 2023.
How to Apply for DTE Assam Recruitment
Interested and Eligible candidates shall apply online in the official website of DTE, Assam, i.e. http://www.dte.assam.gov.in. The steps of Apply online for Directorate of Technical Education Assam Recruitment has been given below. The online apply link for the Graduate Teacher in Arts, Science and Hindi subjects will be available from 12:00 AM of 3rd February-2023 to 12:00 AM of 12th February-2023. Follow the below given steps for apply online.

- Click on the Online Application Link.
- Now, the official web portal of DTE, Assam will load in the new tab of your browser.
- In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
- After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
- After that, you have to upload your documents.
- After the successful completion of all steps, your application will be submitted.
- Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
- Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
Documents need to upload at the time of Online Apply:
- Passport Size Colour Photograph.
- HSLC Mark sheet and Admit Card(Age Proof).
- HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
- Mark sheet and Certificate of Degree (in case of candidates for the posts of Graduate Teacher Arts and Science, shall submit all three year Mark sheet and Pravin / Ratna final examination mark-sheet and certificate in case of Hindi Posts
- Post Graduate mark sheet and Certificate in case of less than 50% marks in Graduation.
- Any other mark-sheet and certificate of higher education.
- High School TET mark sheet.
- B.Ed. / Parangat Mark Sheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
- Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC) for ascertaining the TET qualification marks.
- Scanned Signature.
Selection Criteria for DTE Graduate Teacher
Criteria for Selection of Graduate Teacher (Arts and Science):
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in B.A/B.Com/B.Sc examination (in case of Major/Hons, the marks obtained in Major/Hons shall be taken into consideration).
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in Higher Secondary final examination.
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in B.Ed .final examination.
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in TET examination.
- Explanation: For the purpose of calculation of marks under the categories mentioned in clauses (i)(ii), (iii) and (iv) above it may be clarified that if a candidate secures; for example 60% marks in the particular examination he/she secure 60 marks out of 100 marks allotted in the concerned examination.
Criteria for Selection of Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in BA Examination with the concerning language as one of the subjects or highest degree in the language i.e. Pravin / Ratna Examination in case of Hindi Teacher.
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in HS final examination.
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in B.Ed. final examination.
- 100 marks on percentage of marks in TET examination.
Please Note: District-wise, Subject-wise separate Merit Lists will be prepared for each category of the post.
