JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience with x86 platform architecture (Intel + AMD)
Power user in Linux environment – commands, pkg install, kernel update and script creations.
Familiar with industry synthetic application tools HPL Linpack, SPECCPU, SPECjbb, Stream, iperf, fio.
Familiar with all peripherals and subsystems in server: memory, PCIe, network, storage, BIOS, BMC, IPMI.
Familiar with scripting languages [shell, bash, python] and Redfish API [json]
Full coverage of internal test for EVT/DVT/PVT:
Clear understanding about test coverage and requirement of each phase, also phase exit criteria.
Generate internal test plan for servers and storage systems.
Execute all internal test items for each phase and if necessary implement new test item on the fly to ver any gap
Generate internal test report for servers and storage systems.
Track all issues and bugs and drive for closure.
Responsible for ODM collaboration for EVT/DVT/PVT test:
Collaborate with ODM for all test requirements – broad knowledge on test coverage for different categories of ODM tests.
Review ODM test plans for servers and storage systems.
Review ODM test report with detailed test results and data.
Track all issues and bugs, collaborate with ODM for closure together with ODM(s).
Review test flow and technology at block diagram. Read & review schematic is a plus.
