The Opportunity: We are currently looking for a National Account Manager with a hunter mindset and a strong desire to be a part of a winning/high performing team.
This individual will lead our efforts to expand the Mattel business and fuel the next phase of growth with new and existing retailer partners across the country.
This role is a stepping stone to be a future sales leader at Mattel and will provide strong exposure to all our brands and business teams.
What Your Impact Will Be: Focus on Growth Channel account expansion with an emphasis on Ecommerce development Collaboratewith a network of distributor partners by establishing regular buyer contact, attending rep meetings, executing market visits, building a promotional calendar, diligently capturing commitments and following through all the way to execution Driverevenue growthand new points of distribution Business planning and forecasting as necessary to support strategic selling plan Lead regular business meeting with various accounts including meeting preparation, POS/Ship data analysis, action plans and appropriate follow ups Manages assignment such that business opportunities are identified, and plans are in place to realize them in both digital and bricks and mortar Accountable for all sales planning and item forecasting for multiple emerging channel accounts Effective management of O&A budget and spend Manage day-to-day account details internally and externally including order/shipping follow-up, in-store distribution, sales information/product samples, quote sheets and item set-up, inventory management & requests from accounts Review weekly reports, customer sales and marketing programs and other data as necessary.
Recommend solutions and actions to achieve account plus Mattel goals Interacts regularly with business and extended Mattel teams to support and enhance the business Ad-hoc reports and projects as needed All other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For: 5 years sales/ecomm experience selling into National Accounts and/or distributors.
A self-starter with a hunter mentality and relentless focus on growing the business and achieving sales goals Ecommerce experience is a must Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a team environment People leadership experience an asset Attention to detail, accuracy is imperative Ability to work under pressure in changing environment Excellent organizational & analytical skills including forecasting experience Strong PC skills (Excel/Word/Power Point) required Cognos skills an asset Toy business experience an asset The requirements of this position may change from time to time in accordance with the changing conditions of the business.
