Applications are invited from Indian male candidates possessing the educational qualification and age prescribed below for recruitment to the post of Sailor {Domestic Branch} in the Armed Forces of the Union, Indian Coast Guard.

Age Criteria :-

Born between 01 May 2001 to 30 April 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Comment:- Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates is applicable only if the posts are reserved for them.

pay scale :-

Salary and Allowances – The starting pay scale for Sailor (DB) is 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances depending on the nature of duty/place of posting as per regulation in force from time to time.
promotion – There are possibilities of promotion to the post of Principal Officer with pay scale 47600/- (Pay Level 8) with Dearness Allowance.

educational qualification :-

10th Class Passed from Board of Education Recognized by Board of School Education (COBSE).

Candidate (except SC/ST candidateswho are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay the fee Rupee. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only).
