Why did you complete a Company Hunt in Manor Royal on Tuesday 23 August 2022?

With me having a gap in my construction employment, it was about time that I went on another Company Hunt, first in a while.

Where did you visit in Manor Royal?

I visited only a small amount of companies today instead of a huge amount over one main road and the small roads off of it. Here's a list of roads I passed through:

What companies had vacancies & how would I apply?

Only two companies mentioned or shown that they have any vacancies available.

17 companies said that they had no vacancies available. Of which, Robyn's & Day let me know to check out their website, I gave my e-mail address to one company, another uses Indeed to advertise jobs and another mentioned they have had to make redundancies.

I received 4 e-mail address to e-mail my CV to, one gave me a telephone number to call and 2 uses Job Boards to advertise their jobs.

7 companies were non-responders, of which I found telephone numbers for 4 of these companies for me to call another time.

Conclusion

I am a little surprised that there were only 2 jobs available on this Company Hunt. However, I am more surprised that there were only a small amount on non-responders from this Company Hunt, as I was expecting a fair amount more not answering their doors.

What Next?

The main next step for me would be to call the companies I received telephone numbers for, and I will be doing this on Tuesday 30 August 2022.

The next step for me would be to send e-mails to the companies I am suited to, accompanied with a CV and cover letter.

I will also take a look at the websites that I received, and potentially share this with potential candidates.
