This caught my attention because Pizza Hut are to close 29 of their 244 restaurants, placing approximately 450 of their wholes at risk of losing their jobs.
Where and when will the 29 of the 244 Pizza Hut restaurants close?
Thus article from the I newspaper only mentions that the 29 of the 244 Pizza Hut restaurants are based in the United Kingdom, but had but mentioned the exact location locations or where the affected employees are based.
How would this affect the approximately 450 Pizza Hut employees?
The approximately 450 Pizza Hut employees would be the hardest hit, especially when it comes to finances. They would go from being in paid employment to claiming Universal Credit (unemployment benefits) at just over £300 per month.
They are at greater risk of having mental health issues and possibly with physical.
Who else would this affect?
It's not just the approximately 450 Pizza Hut employees without the toppings. Here's a list of others who would also be affected:
Customers - With fewer employees at Pizza Hut, customers may need to wait longer fit their pizzas to arrive. They may also decide to go elsewhere to purchase the pizzas they require. Also, with the closure of the 29 restaurants, it would take longer for deliveries of pizzas to arrive from outer Pizza Hut restaurants.
Pizza Hut - If customers do go elsewhere to purchase pizzas, Pizza Hut wouldn't make as much money from sake and, in turn, make less profits or go into debt. This would mean that there is a higher chance of more redundancies.
Suppliers - With the 29 restaurant closures, suppliers would no longer need to supply products to rise 29 Pizza Hut restaurants. In turn, they would not make as much money. From there, they may need to make some redundancies themselves.
Landlords - Landor's would not receive rent for the 29 Pizza Hut restaurants until they have find other companies to rent the restaurants out to.
Families - The affected Pizza Hut employees may need to borrow money from their respective family members for essentials like household bills and food. The money would need to be paid back.
The Government - If the approximately 450 Pizza Hut employees do become redundant, the Government would not receive taxes from the employees have found employment elsewhere. The Government would also have to post out just over £300 per month in Universal Credit payments. That would equate to £135,000 per month.
I am one of the approximately 450 Pizza Hut employees at risk of losing their jobs. What can I do to seek alternative employment elsewhere?
It's hard to find employment at the best of times, but with the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, it is now almost impossible to do so now.
The Hospitality industry has been battered left, right and centre due to the coronavirus, so I would avoid the Hospitality industry for a while until it picks up again.
The care industry is always on the look out for new employees, so you can look into this.
I have also noticed that warehousing and logistics have been recruiting. Look up things like driving jobs (driving licence would be required), Personal Shopper, Parcel Sorter, Warehouse Assistant jobs in your local or ideal areas.
Have you considered becoming self-employed, helping others save money on things like household bills, etc.? One of my amazing connections, Stuart Ritchie, is looking for fantastic people our you to earn money this way. Don't delay, call Stuart today on 07784 311 737.
