  • Requirements
    • Education and Experience :BSC Degree or equivalent in Civil – Engineering or Building Construction or Mechanical Engineering
    • Experience: Minimum of Four years of experience in related works.
    • Language: Proven proficiency of Listening, Speaking and Writing Afaan Oromoo, Amharic and English are Mandatory.
      Roles and Responsibilities
  • As Maker:
  • Collects and checks authenticity of all collateral property documents.
  • Observes, measures, takes pictures (both photograph and video as appropriate) and other data of collateral properties.
  • Interprets the data, estimates value of collateral, and produces collateral estimation result reports.
  • Provides technical advice on discrepancies observed and justifications for variation on estimated values of collateral.
  • Collects market and cost price data (construction materials, location value, labor, etc) to update estimation procedures.
  • Works collaboratively with all credit performers.
  • Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
  • As Checker:
  • Checks and ensures appropriateness of all collateral property documents and valuation process.
  • Conducts site visit to counter-check the physical condition of collateral properties, if necessary.
  • Confirm genuineness of collateral estimation result reports.
  • Provides technical advice on discrepancies observed and justifications for variation on estimated values of collateral.
  • Collects market price data to update estimation procedures.
  • Works collaboratively with the performers of credit process.
  • Performs other collateral valuation related duties as deemed necessary.
