David, Altrincham

Motorists and cyclists do have to share the roads and I have to agree that drivers are the ones who cause wear and tear on road surfaces, as I have noticed that cyclists use the pavements more than the roads. So I am unable to understand why drivers complain about road tax. I guess if these drivers do not want to pay road tax, then they can walk everywhere.

I agree that it is careless type of people that ruin it for everybody else.

Police are like that. When you want them, they're not there, but when you don't want them, they're there.

Even with dashcam, I do wonder how many drivers they arrest for wrong doing? If there has been accident, police ask for dashcam footage. I would refuse to help them. It's as simple as that.

Drivers do get away with a lot, including things you have mentioned, and more. If drives me around the bend! Sorry for the pun.
