The Hospital is soliciting for qualified applicants for the position of MaintenanceIn Charge.
Position requirements:-
Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering from a recognized institution.
At least five years of relevant experience.
Ability to work under minimum supervision.
Should demonstrate high level of compassion, integrity, commitment, professionalism, stewardship and God fearing.
Duties and responsibilities
Prepares and maintains preventive and routine maintenance schedules and monitors their implementation
Supervises and assigns duties to the maintenance staff
Prepares shift program for the staff
Prepares maintenance reports and submits to the Services Manager
Monitors repair costs and advises on retirement of some equipment, where applicable
Ensures all plumbing system is working efficiently
Ensures all repair work on furniture and fittings is carried out effectively and on time.
Coordinates equipment purchase, installation and commissioning.
