Responsibilities: Establish and maintain relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and the community at large in order to retain existing and attract new business Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters. Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements. Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them. Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline. Mortgage and Real Estate-related activities. Seek first to UNDERSTAND the needs of the client. PROVIDE clients with the best options available to them. CREATE lasting client relationships. Work to SERVICE those needs in a professional, skilled manner. ADVISE borrowers on financial status and payment methods. Guide customers through the loan application process. DEVELOP referral networks to locate prospects for loans. Provide ETHICAL customer-first service.
Qualifications: Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required. Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies. Must be willing to take and pass the NMLS exam (if not already licensed) Must have salesmanship experience and comfort level speaking with new business partners and potential borrowers.
